Statamic Voted Best Flat File CMS Again
Last week, CMS Critic announced the winners of the 2022 CMS Critic People’s Choice Awards and Statamic won the award for “Best Flat File CMS” for the second year in a row!
CMS Critic has been awarding the best CMS since 2012 which is, coincidentally, the same year Statamic 1.0 got released.
This year’s awards “had record participation from around the globe for both the nominations and final voting” which makes us feel even more honored.

In last year’s Critic’s Choice Awards, they praised Statamic’s flexibility and the highly customizable content editing experience, amongst other things.
What really stands out for us is the flexibility of Statamic’s headless Content REST API, which can deliver content from Statamic to your frontend, external apps, and other endpoints. It’s also a Git-integrated platform, meaning users can directly manage their version control workflow and automatically commit, schedule, and push content from a simple control panel.
Another milestone: We also reached 2,5k stars on GitHub last week 🌟
We want to say Thank You to everyone who voted for us or starred our repo on GitHub.
