Statamic 4 is taking shape šŸ’…

Mark your calendars (for the end-of-March-ish) because we're working hard on the next major version of your mostest favoritest CMS! šŸš€

Starting with 4.0, we're switching to semantic versioning with a new new major version releasing every year, trailing behind Laravel's same major release schedule by a month or so. Statamic 4 will include a number internal upgrades as well as lots of UI and UX improvements, but will not require a singificant upgrade effort like v2 to v3.

Here's a sneak peek for you šŸ‘€

I just fell in love with @statamic. Thank you @isabella_zick & @leganz šŸ‘€

I had a blast working on this site! Diving into @statamic for the first time was an equally awesome experience!

Last year I really enjoyed releasing the Pinpoint Image addon on @statamic. If you enjoy great development and ease of use, working in statamic is the way!

My last project at work is my first @statamic one. That means Iā€™m now eligible to buy some of their cool swag, right? šŸ˜Ž

One of my favorite things about @statamic is how flexible it is, and it just gets out of your way when you want to do something a "little crazy." For example, I've been working on some documentation and kept adding little notes to the codebase

Well, I agree that most of them cost a lot of money but hear me out. Headless @statamic: 6$ a month (minimum droplet). Build your website with Next or Nuxt, update it with ISR or On Demand Builders and you get a hybrid site that costs $0 to run/maintain.

We launched our brand new website recently and we're so happy with it! šŸ”„šŸ”„ Shoutout to @AdamWathan and his game-changing @tailwindcss, @statamic from @jackmcdade for the massive performance boost, and Lokman from @LuckyMediaDev for the top-notch work!

@statamic is a great one. You can choose between a flat file system, or a traditional database. Edit your content in markdown files without making the CMS the focus, or use their excellent UI to build custom fields and content.

or you can use something like @statamic as a CMS for your website/blog. We have a website with Statamic getting 30k monthly visitors running on a $7 droplet. The website in question: https://mybodytutor.com
